Read from May 31 to June 07, 2011

Mira Chamber's is back, this time she has left Serenity behind. But if she thinks she can live the rest of her life blissfully with Ben as her guardian then she has another thing coming. Firstly the military led by General Garland want her for the good of the country in there fight against terrorism and see her power to see the past as a major benifit. Criminal's also want a piece of Mira and try to control her through Ben someone she loves and will do anything to ensure his wellbeing. Along the way we meet new character's such as Gabby who is a friend of Ben's and befriends Mira and a whole host of crims accociated with the evil Colonel Kitching.

The first thing i noticed straight away with Hindsight was the pacing that was alot quicker than the original in the series Diamond Eyes. There was just so much going on with Mira in pursuit of the captured Ben. Gun battles a plenty, Mira struggling with her feelings for Ben and her body guard Lockman who also falls for her. The other thing that happened abit was character's miss judging Mira with the bad guys in particular wishing the hadn't as she is a feisty no holds women who can more than hold her own.

Hindsight was my most anticipated book of this year and i must admit i was not disappointed. The pacing was full on, the storyline perfectly carrying on from the original with the new character's complimenting the story wonderfully well. I would advise if you havn't read Diamond Eyes then to do so as it will fill you in with the story before resuming with Hindsight. My only disappoinment about the book was that it had to end even if it did set things up nicely for the next book. I can only think what will happen next though i know one thing Kitching should be very afraid with Mira after him.
