hmm this was an odd book. Its the equivalent of junk food...empty calories, zero nutrition whatsoever. I read it cause I had it (haha 25cents in a charity shop, phew!) and it was a light distraction during exams.
I gave it two stars particularly because Davidson's dialogue makes me want to choke her. Derik and Sara both sound like a pair of childish teenagers who looked up quotes in a slang book, argh! i mean yeah sometimes you might smile, but most of the time I just rolled my eyes and cringed...a lot.
plus the story is nothing to brag about, very little actually happens. I did enjoy reading about Sara's powers though, but otherwise, this is going into the 'for charity' shelf!
