Although there is plenty of action in this one and Eric play a prominent role (and I like that Bill gets to be the hero) the ending was incomplete. This book is clearly a jumping off point for the next one. Reading this book feels like watching the first half of a two part movie when you know that the second part won't be out for 6-12 months. Wish I would have waited to read this until book 12 was out.

“So, on the whole, I'd have to say that no, people don't change, but they CAN learn to behave differently. I want to believe otherwise. If you have an argument that says I'm wrong, I'd be glad to hear it.”
Charlaine Harris, Dead Reckoning
