Hooper does a good job outlining events of a serial killer and the course of action the police and federal investigators take. With this story, she utilizes psychics. While I found the story pretty well written and enjoyed the psychics connections, she started to bring in more psychics. Knowing that this is something investigators use sometimes I found a few parts a little off the wall. These psychics somehow could connect with each other and enhance each others powers and sometimes absorb them and could "dream walk." I don't think something like that is possible so I found that a little - different I'll say. Not in a bad way. The story is pretty good and I will pursue the other 2 books just to find out what will happen.
