Anne Bronte is the least known of the Bronte sisters. She died young (like all of them), and had followed in her older sisters', Charlotte and Emily's, footsteps by writing fiction. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall is a powerful study of the destruction drugs can cause to the people we love. It is also a book of hope, as well as a case against the pain social mores can cause. It is well written and has a clever change of point of view.
