I read this book in high school and had to read it a few times after that because it became my favorite book. Sure, many people say their favorite book is a classic piece of literature, but I say a Stephen King book can be just as good. This book really made me feel like I was watching Johnny Smith every step of the way, and I felt for his character. I felt for him when he awoke out of the coma, to find Sarah married with a child, and to find out his life would never be the same. He was gifted with the supernatural ability of psychometry that seemed to him more of a curse than a blessing. Johnny was able to use this ability to help others in seeing the future or parts of the past.
I loved when he used his gift to track down the serial killer...this book is so great; I can't say enough about it.

This book was perfect because it had just enough in it and didn't overdo it. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. The movie was great. I could never pass up a movie with Christopher Walken. The show was amazing, too. Anthony Michael Hall played a less brooding version of John Smith, but depicted him pretty well for a series. I think I've watched that series over about three times already!

My point being: I love this book and I think I'm in the mood to re-read it again.
