Interesting book which takes a very different approach to looking at food. The author takes a long and intimate look at where our food comes from. Without getting preachy, he makes the point that processed foods have their negative side. He succeeds by presenting facts in a very lively and readable way and letting you do the thinking and analysis. I think the most important point of the book is raising awareness about food and not treating it as something ordinary or irrelevant. That's what really made an impression on me.
