A funny paranormal (non-romance!) about a guy who discovers that he is a necromancer, but that it's been hidden from him so as not to anger the supremely evil, powerful, and jealous necromancer on the paranormal Council. Funny, clever, plus it's set in Seattle! Not just set in Seattle as an off-thought, but the book mentions specific places, which is pretty cool.
