Man, this one will keep you on the edge of your seat. We have the continuation of Annabelle's story and Oliver's past coming back to haunt him.
I loved that Annabelle was able to come back to Oliver and let him help her get out from under her past actions. Jerry needed to be taken down, but in a way that let her get her life back. The way things came down with that action was bitter sweet.
We also really got to know about Oliver's past with this book. It wasn't always pretty and proves that just because you hold a position of power within the government doesn't mean that you have the country's best interest at heart, sometimes your own agenda takes precedent. I do think that Oliver made the right decisions, now I only hope that he can get away with it.
