I find this misfit group of old men to be funny, a group you sure wouldn't expect to thwart a spy ring. But that is just why they are able to do what they do. While they may be old men, they each have unique skills that when as a group make them seem able to handle anything. I also really love that they know when to ask for help, going to Alex Ford a Secret Service agent that always supports them.
Another interesting aspect to this story was Annabelle. I wasn't sure at first how her and what she was doing was going to come into play with the Camel Club. It was great how the author was able to bring Annabelle in. Her special skill set made her the perfect person to help them out. I would loved to see her stick around and become a permanent member of the club.

The first of this series is The Camel Club. They are good, have unexpected heroes and are full of political intrigue.I do like his King and Maxwell books, the first is Split Second, these ones are more political intrigue.
One of my favorites that is a stand alone is The Winner.
For the most part I haven't found a book of his that I don't like.

whats the first in the series of the camel club? and have you read any of his others (non camel club)- and if yes did you like them?
