Linda Howard is so awesome for so many reasons! She's one of the best heat-filled-thriller writers ever.

In this nail biter, Trail Stop, Idaho is held under siege by two killers with bruised egos and a lesson to teach. But can they outsmart ex-Force Recon Cal and B&B owner Cate? Nicknamed The Ghost by his fellow marines, Cal's not a man to be crossed lightly. When thugs point guns at the woman he loves and threatens the people of his tiny town he takes it personally. Cate too has a trick or two up her sleeve, with her background in rock climbing she becomes an imperative tool in this countdown as the killers get desperate.

As they work tirelessly to make sure their friends get out of this confusing mess alive, Cal and Cate determine just how deep their feelings for one another go. The pages sizzle- d'uh, it's Howard - and the plot makes the story fly. A very entertaining read.
