Read in May, 2011

I loved the character development. I was able to vividly and mentally imagine their thoughts and what they were going through. It was interesting to compare and contrast the two principal characters and try and anticipate their actions and interactions. It was also interesting the way Tolstoy used religion as part of the storyline in a way that current popular writers steer away from. Yes, it could have been a bit shorter.
