I agree with Amazon reviewers and give this book 4.5 stars. I expected this book to be a light, humorous book just based on the name alone but it turned out to be something different dealing with issues of racism, mental illness, and alchoholism. I think those who liked reading THE HELP would most like this book. I really, really, liked this book a lot. The ending surprised me but I don't want to say more than that. This book is for fans of serious Southern fiction, especially those who grew up in the 60's and 70's.

Michele It sounds like an interesting book.

Pjbookhoarder Cassie, I can send my uncorrected proof copy to you if you'd like it. No trade necessary. I only caught 4 little typo's in the whole book. You can email me and let me know if you'd like it.
