The book was fairly interesting and moved along nicely. I think the story was too fabricated, though. Everything happened in such a short amount of time, especially for Rebecca and Adam while working for the relief agency. Maya is a grown woman, a doctor, who doesn't have the sense to keep her opinions to herself and appreciate the help being offered to her by her "captors". Rebecca and Adam seem too eager to accept after a couple short days that they'll never see Maya again.
I felt the story was way too neatly packaged, even the ending being unrealistic and unjustified.
The story was entertaining enough and not boring, so I give it 3 stars, although that's probably generous.
