I read this book extremely quickly because it was a really creepy uncomfortable read and I wanted to get it over with. It was about murder in Gothenburg but you probably could have guessed that...

I cannot decide with Edwardson if it is his style or the translation but everything seems to be written like a television script which detracts from the enjoyment of the book rather a lot.

The story was fine but the best thing about these books are the police officers, unlike other crime novels they are not particularly moody sociopaths but actually are written like real people, which is a refreshing change from your usual easyread thriller.
