This is a book that is actually a collaboration between Garth Nix and Sean Williams, and boy can I tell you this series has so much potential. Besides, any book that talks about the game Park and Shop deserves to be placed proudly on my shelf!

When I first started with the Troubletwisters I was expecting an average, run of the mill fantasy but it turned into something completely different.

This novel is a little slow to get started and I absolutely cannot stand books that put kids in danger but "don't tell them to keep them safe" because by now every fantasy adult should know the kid will purposely do what they aren't supposed to and get in trouble or be in harms way.

Beyond the whole not telling kids thing it really turned into a fairly quick page tuner that kept me at the edge of my seat. I want to compare this series to a modern "The Dark is Rising" series by Susan Cooper.

I hope to see this series take off because it's really a great series.

I look forward to what this series has to over and really can't wait for the next book!
