The story begins with a) Kathy, college student, fiance of Christian, missing for last 18 months ... b) with the death of her father, Adam, apparently at the hands of a mugger, c) with pressure coming from Herman, thug turned sports manager who had illegal contract signed by Christian when he was too young & ‘bought’ by a tougher thug Frank,d) Christian showing him a porn magazine with Kathy’s naked picture & a 900 number to call for phone sex, and e) the return of Jessica, Kathy’s sister & Myron’s love (she left him a couple of years earlier, and Myron still loves her)...

Bit by bit Myron and Wyn (and with the help of Jessica) track down clues and deal with problems... Humorously, Myron ignores when Christian takes his contract back, and he negotiates a great deal for him anyway - though the team owner tried to blackmail him with the picture of kathy, Myron just tapes their conversation as counter blackmail... and then when dealing with the mob who has the contract (having kidnapped his sister), his friend Wyn, member of country clubs, invites the thug to play golf with him, and the thug turns over the sister & the contract with no problem.

But to the real mystery... Kathy was beautiful, the perfect daughter, perfect cheerleader, and held off her boyfriend for 3 years with no sex (as that was how she was raised)... until in her Senior year, she caught her mother and her father’s best friend in bed together... she went extreme in the other direction - sex with any one - multiple ones - etc... taking pictures and mailing them to her mother... until the 2nd semester in college she meets Christian... now Christian believed she was innocent... until... to get back at Christian, an explayer/drug dealer blackmails Kathy, then arranges for a gang rape of Kathy... she decides to face her past and prosecute, goes to Christian - who is appalled about her, and ends up killing her (though she wasn’t quite dead when he buried her in the woods : (

A year later plus a little later, dad - medical examiner - has the remains of a body found in the woods, and realizes it is his daughter, and then he finds the pictures her mother had hidden... and he decides to smoke out his daughter's murdere by making it appear she is alive - placing a nude picture of her in a porn magazine, and making sure it is mailed to 7 men who might have done it... Christian shows his to Myron..

Myron, in protection of Christian & because of his love for Kathy's sister & Jessica (sister) request for help, starts to investigate... th author exposes each clue to what happened in the past and what happened now... and Christian, when he realizes that her father was getting close, kills him, and then afraid Nancy would let something slip, kills her... and had selected Myron as his agent, knowing his background and figuring it might help if... he played them all...

interesting, likable characters, a little suspense, wove the clues bit by bit, until....
