it was amazing
bookshelves: 19th-century, british, fiction, utopian

I love, love, love William Morris for his remarkable textiles...and I think I mainly had his works in mind when reading this. "News From Nowhere" is a fairly imaginative work that takes a reader to a Utopian society based on crafts and luxury. I guess Morris is trying to portray a Socialist Utopia, but it's essentially far fetched, so unrealistic, yet as pretty as Morris's prints.
