Fast-paced, spare cyberpunk tale of two ronin-for-hire, Kat and Mouse. They aren't as cutesy as the names suggest. In fact, they'll competently beat you with your own weapon and wisecrack while doing it. In other words, my kind of ladies. =D

Guns for Hire is a full season of a formerly-serial story, so it's told in bite-sized segments. While I love the book - the cover is gorgeous in person - I actually recommend purchasing the electronic version if you're a commuter (!not driving yourself!) or someone who often finds him/herself with 5 minutes here or there to read.

Kat and Mouse has been the highlight of my Mondays (the day on which Senires releases new stories) for months. Recommended.
