Alana is in search of hope for her relationship with her boyfriend Randy. She knows that they’re love is all but lost but can’t seem to let go of the idea that maybe…if she loves more, expects less, and works harder at it, their relationship can be revived. As a last stitch effort to salvage what they have together they travel to the Yucatan for three weeks. But instead of finding hope for their dwindling love, Alana finds hope for herself and for a better life.

As she steps foot into the past, the spirit world, and a journey through lives she never knew she’d lived, Alana discovers a strength and love for herself that she hadn’t thought possible.

This book was truly a spiritual journey. Though it was a bit slow at times, the description was so accurate and believable that I felt myself going on the journey through the spirit world with Alana. I even found myself relating to her on many levels, being able to find closure and understanding I hadn’t expected to find.
