I won this selection through the goodreads First Reads giveaways.

I wish I could give this one 3.5 stars.. but since I can't... It was cute and interesting and it kept me reading... but it was missing something and I'm just not 100% sure what. It was funny at times but it lacked some form of "realness"..? I just didn't buy into it. Melanie was a spoiled brat and Kelly could've been a bit stronger.

The story was written well and it went along well without dragging through. The writer did a good job, I just couldn't get into the characters. And well, Melanie has anorexia and Kelly just happens to have a friend who is a recovering anorexic? See where I'm going here?

It was just unrealistic. I read a couple of reviews that compared it to Desperate Housewives but the mood was more.. Brothers and Sisters. You'll see when you read it.
