Survival against all odds, the dreadful story of a young girls imprisonment and forced labour. Her dependance on her kidnapper for the most basic of needs. What really shines through when you read this story is her refusal to be a victim, her struggle to keep her own identity and how she survived the most awful of ordeals. She shows a courage beyond the expectation of most people.
