Read from April 29 to May 11, 2011

I read this novel twenty years ago when it first came out. Recently, I was having trouble finding a new book to read, so I decided to read this novel again. I forgot so much about what happened in the story, but I remembered how much I loved reading it.

The characters have great depth and personalities. There is no one-dimensional characters in this story, each person has their own strengths and failings. That's what makes the story so appealing, no one character is above having weaknesses. Even Tanis, the leader of the group, struggles with his own personal demons.

This novel isn't just for those who love fantasy novels. I think anyone who loves to curl up to a good book should read this novel. It offers such a great escape from the pressures of the real world.
