it was amazing
bookshelves: individuality, picture, fantasy, bullying, names

This is a great story that seems to be a great tool to use to scaffold into lessons about names, uniqueness, and bullying. It can help children understand feelings and how to accept ones self in spite of hurtful comments by others. Additionally, illustrations by Kevin Henkes are always wonderful, and this book is no exception.
