Read from April 29 to May 12, 2011 — I own a copy

At first I found Dexter's baby ogling terribly amusing, because it was so very un-Dexter, but after a little bit, it got old and tiring, mostly for the same reason. I very much prefer the way the TV series handles the birth of Dexter's child, in that he sees the kid as just another part of his disguise and he doesn't really think much beyond that. Oh well, can't have it good all the time.

The plot in this book was kinda thin in my opinion, but the book was otherwise well written and solid as the entire series has been. There were some very amusing scenes, a few of which probably shouldn't have been so funny. If the series ends with this book, I suppose it wasn't a bad way to go out, after all, it could have been much worse.
