Lots of action. I am hesitant to complain about how all the ends were tied together. Usually, I whine about loose ends in books, but in this case, the reveal of Chione's background made me groan just a tiny bit. I suppose it did help her feel some sense of belonging, knowing her mother's background. This is why I feel like I'm whining needlessly - it's all for the story.

I took a bit off my rating because the ebook didn't have the cover with Paul Marron (the reason I bought the thing in the first place).
