Watermelon (Walsh Family, #1)
by Marian Keyes
by Marian Keyes
Full of quick, clever, sarcastic humor. Claire's (the star of the story) inner dialogue was, often times, laugh-out-loud funny. Such a quirky character with a tendencey to get worked up over nothing---a conversation that hadn't happened yet--a situation that "could" take place. I found Claire to be delightful (if not a bit like me :)) I am sure my husband would agree!:) But....haven't we all found ourselves playing out a scenario that could present itself. It is always good to be prepared, I say.
This book is for any girl who adores chick-lits. Definately the same genre as Jennifer Weiner, Jeffifer Cruise, Emily Griffin, etc... Romantic, funny, full of surprises that shouldn't really be surprises. Fun.

Jayci--you must read a book a day. Good for you! Where do you find the time? This book sounds like a good one that I need to add to my must-reads. I am so much like that character and really trying not to be. Maybe it will help me overcome the "what if" syndrome.

LOL! I have trouble sleeping, so I get a LOT of reading done between the hours of 10pm and 2am. I'm not sure I would recommend it!:) It makes for some exhausting days. Living on 5 hours of sleep takes a toll. :) I must warn you....there is some language in this book. I don't want to send you in unprepared.
