I liked getting more of a background of Ender's parents. I would have liked to find out more what happens in their lives & what they think & discuss among themselves about their children as Ender is sent to battle school & beyond.

It was interesting to read about how Ender met Jane. It was kind of strange reading it, though. Ender himself & the story seemed to be different from the rest of the books about Ender. Maybe it was because it was such a short story that it didn't get as detailed or show the psychology of the people. It did seem that Ender's personality was a little different in the book than in Ender's Game or Ender in Exile.
