The Doorbell Rang has a hint of math at the beginning, but is a great book for repetition for the younger grades and/or preschoolers. They should be able to predict what is next, and form a pattern with each page. The illustrations show a wide range of diversity with the friends and each time someone else enters the home, they are different than the next.
