4 Stars:
Great start to an intriguing new series. It has all of the fun bitchiness of high school drama I recall but also a great world with some cool sects of vampires and how they interact. Plus just enough romance to keep it exciting for me. loved it, but I found myself wanting Rose and Dimetri to "hook up". Maybe that comes from reading more adult aged romance books. I can not wait to read the next one. Maybe even age Rose so that her and Dimetri can be together, oh I can hope can't I.

Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance was well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

Taryn I love love love this series! And I'm not a fan of YA either.

Lissa Smith Reads'~Bookaholics Bookshelf Reviews When you have teenagers around you tend to come across YA reads. It's always a nice trip down memory Lane called my youth.

Taryn LOL!
