Part of what diminished my appreciation for this book was the fact that I read it immediately following When You Dare by Lori Foster, a book in the same genre that I found immensely superior. I did like a lot of things about this book, such as the interaction between Nathan and Nichole. Nathan was a wonderful leading man!! But there were a lot of elements that I found trite and juvenile, such as the "Reliance Group" and Gwen's caricature of a woman scorned. All said, I do plan to buy the next book.
