Absolutely beautiful! Brought me to tears in the middle of Barnes & Noble. The controversy surrounding this book is just ridiculous. It's an adorable story of how two male penguins come to raise a baby together - and do a great job. The story is moving, the illustrations are organic and precious, and the message is one that encourages children to have open minds and hearts. It would be an especially good story for your children if they have friends with gay parents and you need to explain why their family might seem a little different from yours. This true story celebrates the value of love, in whatever form it may take. More stories like this for our children please!
