really liked it
bookshelves: britlit, fantasy, funny, young-adult

A very different Discworld novel than the ones I've encountered so far, this is the kind of book that would be good for kids and adults who liked Harry Potter. Harry was very smart and cool and all, but he had Ron and Hermione and sometimes, adult mentors (or at least, givers of advice that wasn't bad). Tiffany has to figure everything out on her own.

As usual with the author, the humor and action contain some convincing thoughtful bits. In this case, on the topic witchhunt mentality, and how ludicrous the logic according to which far too many people have perished.
