it was amazing
bookshelves: urban-fantasy, paranormal-romance, romance

Sometimes I wonder why Jeaniene Frost's series is just listed as a romance. In my opinion it could also easily be in fantasy and/or horror (like Kim Harrison or Laurell Hamilton). In any case, this series is a fun easy read. The characters are likable and who couldn't like a kick ass heroine, like Cat??? In comparison though, Ann Rice, is a better writer. Frost is Ann Rice lite. It doesn't make her series bad, just a different flavor and less substantial ingredients.
