Recommended for: depressing you/making you glad you don't live in a Vonnegut novel.

I'm not sure Vonnegut was actually a very good writer when he wrote this book, but I enjoyed it anyway. It's terribly dark, and, since so much of the plot is foreseen by prescient characters, there's a certain sense of hopelessness and inevitability that makes the characters' actions a little unengaging. Still, it had some cool scenes.
