I read this book about 11 years ago and really didn't like it, but didn't like it. So as a result, I wanted to re-read the book once again, hoping that I would probably have a different opinion about the book, but alas I didn't. I don't know why, but it really felt like it was a book about a bunch of boys who were just stranded on an island and didn't know how to organize themselves. More or less, it just frustrated me and left me scratching my head as to what the point of the book exactly was. I honestly don't know why we were taught this book and all I got out of the book was that they liked hunting pigs and killing them, same as what was happening in Survivor: Outback. It really was pointless and I probably will never read this book again. At least I hope so.
