really liked it
bookshelves: 25-book-collection, childrens-lit

As each little mouse sets out to figure out what thing come to their pond, they each uncover only a part of the whole. A fabulous mix of illustrating mediums with the bold, clean colors and lines of the mice next to the earthy, soft lines of the elephant create a treat of a book. While reading this book I hear my dad teaching me to take my time, take in the big picture, and manage my impulses. I'd use it with children to do the same.
