Read in April, 2011

I started and finished the book not realising that it was a true crime book

I got this book as a special offer in a set of 3 (other 2 books by same writer and bought as was cheap and needed to complete my commitment )

The fact that i did not realise that the book was a true crime book may go towards why I found the book hard to work through and dull. With the mindset of it being fiction I felt that the writer went to much into the past of the criminals and lead ups. Too descriptive and there were a lot of time that nearly decided to put the book down.

However I decided to go on as it got past the middle and it got better and improved right near the end. I can not belive the way the courrt system is in american and am surprised by the amount of go rounds that occur and how can they expect the witness to recal anything etc

Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if i had gone in thinking that it ws non fiction and if the layout was less like a book
