Joe Cole, best friend of Henry Rollins, was murdered before this book could be released. It's a sad story and what's even sadder is that Joe showed a lot of promise as a writer. This book is basically his version of what takes place in the latter half of Rollins's "Get In The Van", which chronicles the incessant touring of hardcore legends, Black Flag during the 80's. Lots of funny stuff, but also touches on the alienation and anger that a lot of these guys were dealing with.
