As a fan of WWII books and a Nebraskan, I really enjoyed this one. It's not about WWII directly, but about the soldiers coming and going to war as they traveled the rails through Nebraska. It's about a small town taking care of these soldiers the only way they know how. I found this book to be quite inspiring and am glad to be from a place that cares about out soldiers and willing to sacrifice for them.
