I don't really have that much to say about this book. It was good I suppose, but it didn't really blow my mind, and I'm not sure if some of the things we found out were supposed to be really surprising or what but it was kind of easy to predict what was about to go down. The writing itself is average, nothing awe-inspiring but okay. I'm going to read the next book though, I like the concept of the world, mixing the supernatural element with the mob. I'm a big mob fan, not what they do of course, but the concept. The deceit, the betrayals, murder, family, cons, corruption...Idk there's just something awesome about it. In a world that's slowly making it impossible to break even the simplest of rules, it's nice to know that some can still evade the system. I know that shouldn't be comforting to me, like at all, but I think a world without at least a little crime would be a shame, I'm a big believer in the saying "You can't have happiness without pain" and all that... I think I've gotten off topic.

I guess the book is worth the read if you liked the first one. I really only bought the first one because of the cover, and this one because of the signing I went to so it's not really a read over and over again type thing but yeah. ;P I need to stop buying books for the covers...
