I found this book just too much to enjoy.
The constant use and misuse of hacker slang is very intrusive and not convincing at all that the author has a clue what the words really mean to those involved in computers.
The evil bad guy anticipates the next move of the good guys every time. His every action takes place almost instantly. At one point he downloads "gigabytes" of information over a dial-up connection in 52 minutes. One would be lucky to get 20 megabytes. And on and on and on.....
I mostly found it rather silly.
