Pushkin is my Elvis. This is an adventure story at heart but written with the style and quality you'd expect from Pushkin. An interesting thing about the edition I have is that it's a 1960s Soviet Union copy so it has footnotes explaining why any passages that seem polite about royalty are actually not the real views of the author and must be guarded against.

Barbarac Very interesting edition you have. Even if the book wasn't good it would be worth reading just due to the annotations.

Кристина Петкова I envy you as well (: The royalty is just not in the right place in this nice drama.
