This was a great read, following Lena wait eagerly for the day she would be 'cured' of the disease of love which she had been warned against all her life. I suppose most people reading the book guess that she will fall in love before the time set for her 'cure' (hope I don't spoil it for anyone) but it is still uncertain how it will develop and how she will get through this test. This is a society without love of any kind and while it functions, there is no heart or tenderness in it. Everyone thinks the same and no one really 'feels'. Looks like a big book but it goes very quickly and easily.
