really liked it
bookshelves: picture-books-types, historical-fiction-genre, baseball, war, courage

This is a great book that shows the struggles of many Japanese Americans during WWII. I like how it shows the strength and courage that it took for the children to conquer his fears. Baseball helped boost the spirits of the boy and the Japanese Americans. This is a wonderful story.
