Started and finished last night. 5/2/11

Highschool is crazy. Tyler is nominated for Prom Queen as a joke from the ruling class (the kids that run the school socially). She plans on withdrawing until she finds it will help her with a "cause". According to her cousin and others, prom is too expensive for the majority of the school, so they only ones able to go are the ruling class.

The book was a fun read and a bit cliche but it was great that it showed normal high school students and the things that mean something to them. I liked how her parents didn't understand that this was important to kids. The acted like she was wasting time. It shows parents don't believe kids have issues that matter to them, and that was refreshing.
