I was attracted by the cover and it only took one quick look inside to know that I wanted to read it. I ended up gulping it down in one day and annoying my husband by reading bits out to him when I just couldn't help myself. I was usually laughing too much to be intelligible, but the thought was there.

I'm a huge fan of the books and like the author have gone beyond the main series and read other books connected to it, and though I've never lived close enough to be able to see the places she did, I dragged my husband over P.E.I looking at Anne places and Vancouver to see Stargate filming locations, so I felt a bond.

This book tapped into my own feelings so well it was like having a conversation with the author. One in which my contribution would consist mostly of 'You too? I did that!' It's funny, touching, wildly entertaining.
