really liked it

This was an absolutely phenomenal book. The setting - a train circus during the Depression - was both gritty and romantic. The plot moved quickly, and the characters were very well crafted. I highly recommend this novel!

Alice Ooo, I read this book last fall. Let me know what you think when you're done. Great to see you last week!

Maggie Marton I just finished it and LOVED it. Especially the surprise at the end. I had a really tough time reading the scenes where the animals were beaten, though. But overall, I loved it.

It was great to see you too!! It sounds like things are going well!

Alice I loved it too. Just a different kind of novel from what I'd been reading. I wasn't expecting to get into after reading the back of the jacket, but such a good read and great story.
