I had read Black Hawk Down a few years back and found it very interesting, so I thought I might enjoy this book, and I did. Since I am not ever up on current events and usually avoid the news, I hadn't heard of any of the hoopla that surrounded Jerry Boykin (him being accused of being a religious zealot). Reading about how the Delta Force came to be and reading about several of the high profile missions Boykin was involved with was something most of us don't ever get to hear about. I liked that the book was interesting, without being so detailed that it lost me. I found Boykin straighforward and likeable. I not only enjoyed this book; I feel I owe it to the brave men and women who serve or have served our country to read their stories. Thanks again I appreciate the good read.
