i realize i never wrote a review on this one...i read this book pretty quickly, in stolen moments at work and at night before going to sleep. for some reason, i found this one easier to read on the iphone so even though i started it on the kindle, i read the last part of it on my phone.

i really liked this one until about 3/4 of the way through. don't get me wrong - i still *liked* it but this was the part where i started thinking "just get on with it already!"

i'm glad the loose ends were pretty much tied up and i truly did enjoy reading this book. i seem to be on a historical fiction kick and this fit the bill nicely. :)

i'm looking forward to reading more books from this author.

oh, and with regard to the complaints that it was a CHRISTIAN book, i barely even noticed the references to god/prayer/church, and the references that were in the book seemed very natural and i would have never classified this under christian literature in anyway. so i wouldn't let that deter you from reading this sweet little novel.
